2017 Lolo Creek Data Collection

Field Trip to Lolo Creek

Lolo?6th Graders, Watershed Education Network, and LWG collected and prepared data about the health of Lolo Creek. Students, teachers, and many volunteers spent three hours measuring the biological, chemical, and physical characteristics of Lolo Creek. Students then analyzed field trip data in the classroom, made charts, and helped create this page to share their findings.

LWG had its first field trip with Lolo School in 2015. This field trip marks a continuation in that data collection program, with a third field trip scheduled for fall 2017. Funding for these field trips was provided by Soil and Water Conservation Districts of Montana through their 319 Mini-Grant Program.
