The Lolo Watershed Group is a community-based nonprofit working to conserve and restore the Lolo Creek watershed. Our goal is to enhance aquatic habitat and natural stream characteristics while preserving traditional use of watershed resources.
Our Vision
LWG, incorporated as a 501(c)(3) non-profit was founded in 2003 by a group of landowners concerned about past and present land use issues. They were seeking a results-driven collaborative effort to restore and conserve the watershed.
The Lolo Watershed Group is a team of dedicated landowners, professionals from government, environmental consulting, business and conservation entities who care deeply about the environment and have chosen to give back by donating time and talent to the Lolo community.
Our mission is to understand and conserve the unique characteristics of the Lolo Creek watershed, including its wildlife and fisheries, scenic and rural character, local agriculture, and recreational opportunities while supporting private property and water rights.
